Our fourth year as a club was very successful and even bigger plans are being made for 2017. In 2016, we started the season with a very nice participation in the Dunwoody Lemonade Days. We have been invited back for our third year. In addition to having some events on Thursday nights (Food Trucks) in Brook Run Park we ended the season with a very nice turnout at the Los Rancheros restaurant in Dunwoody. This was so well received we will be planning another event there in 2017. Thanks to all of our members and friends for another successful year.
On 2/6/16, 22 members of the DDC enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the Porsche 356 Cafe. The Cafe is located in the new Porsche Headquarters building near the airport. While having lunch, members were able to see would be racers driving on the Porsche track. After lunch we toured the building and the Porsche Museum. A few people signed up for the Porsche Driving Experiece and many more are anxious to make another visit.

2015 was another exciting year for the Dunwoody Driving Club. Our club continues to grow and the desire for more events increases.
In 2015, we had two events at Brook Run Park. We participated in the Soap Box Derby and Lemonade Days.
We never know how each event will turn out because, like all other car clubs we have to depend on the weather. Lemonade Days was a little wet and it was "really" hot in the parking lot for the Soap...more
On September 18th we completed our outdoor events for 2014 with a good turnout at Brook Run Park. Despite the Falcons and Braves playing at home; Auburn on TV and kids back in school we had 62 cars at the Park.
Thanks to the Bill Grossman and Bettie Cagle for allowing us to use the excellent space at the Park. The Thursday Night Food Truck events in July and September have really assisted us in letting more people know about the...more
I am happy to report that 2013 was a very successful year for the Dunwoody Driving Club.
Our first two events in 2013 were Friday Nite Lights on April 5 and August 9. We were very fortunate to have excellent weather and a great turnout by many enthusiastic car owners who exhibited their vintage and late model cars. We received great positive feedback from the many members of the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs community who attended the...more
What a great year for the Dunwoody Driving Club and its members! As we end our second year, I am delighted with our growth and the results of our events. We started 2012 with our first car show in the old Ace Hardware parking lot in late March. The weather turned out to be a perfect spring day and several new drivers with their cars attended. Thanks to Camelot Jewelers and O'Brians for the free sodas and hot dogs.
We had our first DDC...more
